Liberland US Delegation Attends Block One Event in DC

Members of the Liberland US Delegation attended B1June, an event hosted by Block One, the founder of the EOS blockchain.

B1June took place the evening of June 1st, 2019 at the D.C. Armory. On behalf of Liberland, Dave Molineaux, Joseph Langenbrunner, Pranav Badhwar, and Kirsten Pomales attended the event.

The Delegation discussed Liberland’s founding principles, as well as our DAG (Decentralized Autonomous Government) system with many passionate blockchain advocates. The Liberland Delegation was happy to find that many in the community were already familiar with and supportive of Liberland’s work. The team distributed miniature flags to Liberland supporters throughout the event.

During the event, Block One unveiled its new social media platform, Voice, that intends to put social media users’ data back in their own hands through paid posting and verified accounts.

After the event came to a close, the Delegation walked away with many new contacts in the EOS community who are interested in helping out Liberland in our efforts for recognition and growth. We look forward to working with our new friends to increase awareness of the Free Republic of Liberland.
