John Stossel sues Facebook for defamation

Stossel says that his content's audience reach was restricted due to fact-checkers labeling his climate videos as "missing context" and, in at least one case, falsely quoting him.

John Stossel

After experiencing the repeated smearing, flagging and suppression of his content by Facebook’s “independent” fact-checkers, John Stossel announced today that he is suing them for defamation.

Stossel says that his content’s audience reach was restricted due to fact-checkers labeling his climate videos as “missing context” and, in at least one case, falsely quoting him. There were even fact-checkers who self-allege that they did not even look at some of Stossel’s content, despite their names being posted by the fact-checking organization(s) in association with the flagging notice.
