After experiencing the repeated smearing, flagging and suppression of his content by Facebook’s “independent” fact-checkers, John Stossel announced today that he is suing them for defamation.
Stossel says that his content’s audience reach was restricted due to fact-checkers labeling his climate videos as “missing context” and, in at least one case, falsely quoting him. There were even fact-checkers who self-allege that they did not even look at some of Stossel’s content, despite their names being posted by the fact-checking organization(s) in association with the flagging notice.
