Does Russia’s oil continue to flow? And did Russia actually “invade” Lithuania Airspace?

Trump’s sanctions are ‘fodder for western propaganda+++

According to the Treasury Department, the US sanctions prohibit any economic interaction with Rosneft, Lukoil and their subsidiaries in practice.

The US and the EU are tightening sanctions against Russia. However, economic experts fear that the measures will not only remain ineffective, but could also strengthen Putin’s propaganda. An EU plan is also under criticism due to legal concerns.

US President Donald Trump had struggled for months with the introduction of new sanctions against Russia.

The US has announced measures against Russia’s largest oil companies, Rosneft and Lukoil. At the same time, EU member states have agreed on a far-reaching tightening of sanctions against Russia. However, according to sanctions and economic experts, this cannot be considered a harsh double blow against Russia by Washington and Brussels.
Economic institutes believe that the US sanctions in particular are a very disappointing series of measures that will remain largely ineffective and will also affect the West due to the rise in oil prices.

Nevertheless, Trump has spoken out in favor of continuing talks with Putin and holding the summit in Budapest.
“But Vladimir must also work on it.
I want the deal and I need results that will bring peace in this war. I made that clear also to Zelensky during his visit. The killing must stop!”- told Trump Hungarian PM Viktor Orban during his visit in Washington.

Breaking:
Lithuania reports airspace violation by two Russian aircraft+++
Lithuania reports intrusion by Russian aircraft.

According to the Lithuanian Army, two Russian military aircraft have entered the airspace of the Baltic EU and NATO member state.

The Air Force reported a violation of the state border by a Russian SU-30 jet and an IL-78 tanker aircraft at around 6 p.m. local time for 18 secounds – 700 meters inland.
The two aircraft were on their way to the russian military airbase in the russian enclave Kaliningrad.

President Nausėda announces consequences.

It should be noted that the airspace over the Baltic Sea between Lithuania and Kaliningrad is very limited, so one cannot speak of a provocative intentional violation of airspace by Russia or an attack. Lithuania and the former Baltic Soviet republics like Latvia are in a very tense situation with Russia, and these countries would prefer to invoke NATO’s Article 5 against Russia. Recently, there was a genocide against Russian-speaking citizens in Latvia, who were expelled to Russia.

German Mainstream headline this night: „Lithuania reports intrusion by Russian aircraft“+++

The violation of Lithuanian airspace lasted 18 seconds and the incursion was only 700 meters at a speed of over Mach 1. The aircraft were on their way to the Russian airbase in Kaliningrad. I am familiar with the airspace and the sensitive borders between Klaipeda and Kaliningrad. Certainly, this was neither an attack nor a deliberate provocation by the Russians, especially since, as stated, it involved two Russian military aircraft, but only one SU-30 battle jet and one IL-78 tanker aircraft, which certainly would not be used for provocation. Therefore, it is plausible that this was a pilot error or GPS spoofing.

Certainly, a violation of airspace is unacceptable and requires a formal protest. However, the fact that the Lithuanian president threatens Russia with serious consequences actually shows that the Baltic states would prefer to invoke Article 5 of the NATO alliance tomorrow and start a war against Russia. Russophobic Latvia has already begun expelling the Russian-speaking population to Russia under the guise of a deportation—though I would prefer not to use the word genocide here.

Returning to the airspace violation, I do not believe in intent or provocation, just as little as I believe in the sensational headline: “Now the Russian has invaded NATO territory with combat aircraft!” All that’s missing is the statement:
„From 12 o’clock, we will return fire!“
