This one is simple enough. Voting choices have always been kept secret in most modern countries. But should this be the default choice for each voter?
If a voter wants his or her vote to be made public, then they should have the choice to do so. There should be a simple e-box to un-check for “keep everything secret” and then a new e-box to check to “allow anyone to see my name and my voting choices”.
Unfortunately, electronic voting will always be suspicious to many because, by its very nature, only some tech-natured people will understand how it works and be able to identify attempts to fraudulently rig the system. If a sizeable portion of the public wants their voting choices made public, then it makes the election more difficult to rig by fraud.
Less rig-able elections create more public trust in society, and so more people will sign up for voluntary community service work and then LL can build more roads and bridges, and the parks will stay well maintained and beautiful, and the citizens never have to violently revolt against their own govt.
