Greetings again everyone I have yet again to present another series to you this one to be called the International Relations series where I analyze various international treaties and organizations that Liberland should and should not either ratify or join. Out of all of my previous series that I have wrote and currently writing on, this one will be the most difficult one yet as there are hundreds of treaties and international organizations globally that have to be presented here each with a different analysis since treaties and organizations vary greatly in terms of what they are supposed to do. Most countries are party to at least 200 or more treaties, maybe many more than that if the countries are quite ancient may signed treaties over a thousand treaties that are extremely old but still in force like the Anglo-Portuguese Treaty dating back to 1373, which as it has a defense component it has been used many times up to and including the 20th century.
I will be covering over 100 different treaties and over 50 international organizations at the present time, but as with every project I have tackled here at the Liberland Press these things have a tendency to evolve into a much larger project. I will also be presenting foreign policy declarations that the Congress should adopt such as neutrality and the retroactive Declaration of Independence that President Vit declared on April 13, 2015, all issues that the Minister of Foreign Affairs has already endorsed. These aren’t new ideas at all, these are solutions that must be addressed in my opinion to be able to truly satisfy the entering into international relations under the Montevideo Convention.
Everything that I will cover I have already presented to the Liberland Minister of Foreign Affairs Thomas Walls for his consultation and he is very satisfied with my findings thus far and I will continue to advocate for Liberland’s unilateral ratification of various treaties and other declarations like neutrality, and the retroactive approval of President Vit’s Declaration of Independence from April 13, 2015. Other members of Congress including the Minister of Justice agree that while the approval of these various items are purely symbolic they are absolutely necessary for Liberland to gain more recognition and creditability.
While I will more than likely focus on Liberland vs The World for the time being I wanted to introduce this new series I am starting to craft because it will also bring forward very essential information for everyone wanting to support Liberland but to the Liberland Congress especially as the current structure of Liberland requires the Congress to initiate the ratification treaties and other related items so unless the Congress moves on these items no action can be taken via referendum.
