Liberland’s Go To Guy For Securing Economic Partnerships: Congressman Joey Langenbrunner

Introduction

  • This time the Liberland Press Spotlight shines on Liberland Congressman Joey Langenbrunner.
He has had ties to Liberland since 2017 he is founder of Nomad Layer. He started in Liberland as the Ohio representative, but he later focused on forging economic partnerships for Liberland which is what brought him to run for Congress.

Congressional Role & Focus

  • He was recently elected to 3-month congressional term for January-March 2026 his primary agenda is economic development through strategic partnerships through forming economic alliances with network states and sovereign states. He also plans to build sovereign wealth fund for Liberland, focus on business development vs. proposing legislation.
  • He has stated that he was called back into service by leadership after period of reduced involvement in Liberland.
  • He has an extensive high profile history with Liberland and has even been quoted in major outlets such as (Nasdaq), he has also been a constitutional contributor and is the Liberland Aid Foundation founder and a current member of the board of directors.

Economic Strategy & Alliances

  • He currently has a partnership with Prospera in Honduras and has even lobbied successfully for a law in Prospera which dealt with tax residency.
  • Prospera shares many of it’s early investors with Liberland and it is this model for future economic partnerships that Joey wishes to bring to Liberland along with additional undisclosed partnerships that are in development all Joey would tell me is, “Cool and amazing things are coming soon”.
  • His goal is to make Liberland wealthy and enhance it’s reputation via economic partnerships.
  • His philosophy is that, “Money solves problems and to prioritize revenue generation.”

5-Year Vision

  • His primary goal is to achieve recognition by at least one UN sovereign nation. He pointed to the key strategic opportunity with the Somaliland-Israel recognition that occurred a few weeks ago.
  • He also emphasized that Liberland was the first country to recognize Somaliland back in 2017.
  • He stresses that Liberland needs to capitalize on this and other recent diplomatic developments.
  • This goes back to the potential financial approach (undisclosed) plan that he referenced previously but that the realistic timeline approach to remember though is that “We are building for our children, not just for us”

Congressional Priorities

  • His priorities while serving in Congress are a minimal legislation focus during the short term and that Congress should have emphasis on external relationship building and deals. He will support other members’ constitutional/citizenship initiatives if needed. But he primary mission while in Congress for this term will be international outreach and building economic partnerships.

I cannot wait to see what those undisclosed partnerships are I tried in vain a few different times to get him to tell me more details but with no success, we will have to wait and see what they are and I will report on those developments as they are released.

Stay tuned for more everyone.
