Progress Report 5 on the International Relations Series

I have not been actively publishing this series like I have been wanting to and I apologize to my readers for that. I have been busy with other projects lately and it has taken away from me in continuing this project.

As we have seen in this last round of international relations the priority level is going down and these treaties and organizations are of low importance to Liberland and the further we go down the list, the treaties and organizations become even hostile to Liberland’s way of conducting it’s own governance and core ideals. A future treaty in this list that will be covered shortly has been in the news recently as Poland has declared it is pulling out of the Ottawa Treaty. The biological and chemical weapons treaties have always been considered in some ways controversial as there are countries that have not signed it or abided by it’s terms mainly those in the middle east. Others in this batch are not of importance currently to Liberland are the maritime related ones those may come into play at a later date but by then companies doing business in Liberland may have found ways to innovate around needing those treaties.

I have also looked for more treaties that I may have overlooked and have found an additional 4 treaties to add to the ever growing list of international for the people of Liberland to consider. Even if Liberland does not ultimately approve of any particular treaty we must still ask ourselves why a group of people thought it necessary to write and ratify these treaties in the first place to come to an understanding and possibly innovate new ways to approach the same diplomatic issue at hand whether it was historic or in the present.
