Liberland’s Ambassador for Peace Shyalpa Rinpoche oversees Shyalpa monastery and nunnery and we will be including more coverage from Nepal in the future.
Yesterday we welcomed 30 young boys and girls to study in the Marpa school which is under the umbrella of Shyalpa monastery and nunnery in Nepal. His Holiness Kyabgon Jedrungpa kindly offered refuge vows to them for their journey on the spiritual path. These children are now very fortunate as we offer them modern education as well as spiritual training for free. We also provide three meals per day and afternoon tea, living quarters in the hostel, blankets, sheets, pillows, towels, socks, sandals, toothpaste, toothbrush, soaps, books, pens, robes & medical treatments. Shyalpa monastery and nunnery is their home for the rest of their lives if they personally choose to live here continuously. It is indeed a great honor to serve these most underprivileged children who have very little resources in their village to prepare themselves to face the ground reality and survive in this tough world.
